Having 2 separate logging streams for system and application logs can be beneficial even if there's some redundancy. Redundancy isn't necessarily a bad thing in logging, especially when it comes to troubleshooting, auditing, and business intelligence. Having separate logs makes it easier for the right people to find the information they need.

1- System logs are more for the IT and operations teams for diagnosing and resolving issues, ensuring system health, and providing audit trails. 2- Application logs are typically more business-focused and used for understanding customer behavior, improving CX, and driving decision-making
